For millions around the world the oppression of the Palestinians is a symbol of what’s wrong with the world we live in. The horror of Israel’s genocide in Gaza has triggered a tidal wave of global protest. But for more than seventy years, the Israeli state has inflicted oppression, suffering, apartheid and occupation on the Palestinian people.

As this pamphlet explains, this is no accident. Since its creation, Israel has always been a racist state. Founded out of a process of ethnic cleansing which drove hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, it evolved into imperialism’s watchdog in the Middle East.
